The Lovely Few

Don’t get me wrong, I like my own songs.  Still, I was surprised that out of our updated catalog “Gorgon” was featured in the Free Times 2011 Great Columbia Mixtape.  ”Smoke in the Field” and “Cassiopeia” just felt like more accessible numbers.  Not that I’m complaining, by any means!  In fact, if anything, it’s a bit of a relief to see that this record is communicating something different.  The intent was darker, moodier, and using different song structures and synth voices.
