on some visuals (i.e. t-shirt photos and a video in the near future). He came over tonight and we talked about some ideas, and I was just really impressed with his handling of the situation. We’ve never done a video, so I don’t know how to communicate my already very incomplete vision. Still, he seemed to balance flexibility with focus, creativity with practicality… and did I mention that he’s just a cool guy? Super nice, very positive, selfless. I want to be more like that.
Go check out his tumblr page now.
Don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted on the end product.
In the meantime, go check out his work, and pray that you can one day count yourself as a friend of his.

The Perseids Portrait by Pat Wright Photography. 2011. Thanks to Anna Hodgson for her help with this shoot. Please use this for press.
This week reminded me of a valuable lesson, I’ve learned time and again along the way. A photographers work extends beyond the click of a shutter. Whether the darkroom or the computer, the beauty of a final image finds completion in our post production.
I recently shot for a talented band…
That’s us.
I like SO MANY things about this image. The trees, the star trails, the focus on the meteor. It’s all very good. Well done, Michael M. Nice name, too.
